Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 比晚餐刀還小的刀子,用以食用甜點,把手通常較短,刀刃有時呈弧形、尖頭狀,有時為甜點餐具組的一部份。若是指刀刃尖銳而有時呈鋸齒狀,把手經常帶有裝飾,用來在餐桌上削水果皮以及切割水果的刀子,則用「水果刀」一詞。 
Dutch ..... Messen die kleiner zijn dan een tafelmes en worden gebruikt voor het eten van desserts. Ze hebben in het algemeen een korter handvat en kunnen een gebogen en gepunt lemmet hebben; soms onderdeel van een dessertbestek. Gebruik 'fruitmessen' voor messen met een scherp, soms getand lemmet en vaak een versierd handvat die aan tafel worden gebruikt voor het schillen en snijden van fruit. 
German ..... Messer, kleiner als ein Menümesser, zum Essen von Desserts bestimmt; gewöhnlich besitzt es einen kürzeren Griff und kann eine gebogene und spitz zulaufende Klinge aufweisen; manchmal Teil eines Dessert-Services. Siehe "Obstmesser" für ein Messer mit einer scharfen, manchmal gezahnten Klinge und oftmals mit einem verzierten Griff, das zum Schälen und Schneiden von Obst am Tisch verwendet wird. 
Spanish ..... Cuchillo más pequeño que un cuchillo de cena destinado principalmente para comer postres. Por lo general, tiene un mango más corto y puede tener una hoja curvada y puntiaguda. A veces, es parte de un servicio de postre. Use "cuchillo de fruta” para cuchillos con una hoja afilada, a veces aserrada y frecuentemente con un mango ornamental, utilizado para pelar y cortar fruta en la mesa.
