Chinese (traditional) ..... 自然生長物受法律保護,且任何娛樂和工業都受到限制的土地區域;而野生、未經開發,且不受人類控制或干擾的自然區域,稱為「荒野」。 
Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor gebieden waarvoor de bescherming van de natuurlijke plantengroei wettelijk is vastgelegd en waar recreatie en industrialisatie slechts beperkt mogelijk zijn. Gebruik 'wildernis' voor woeste, ongerepte gebieden die, doordat de mens er (nog) niet heeft ingegrepen, hun natuurlijke staat hebben behouden. 
German ..... Ein Gebiet, dessen natürliche Beschaffenheit durch Gesetzgebung geschützt ist: Freizeitliche und industrielle Aktivitäten dürfen hier allenfalls eingeschränkt stattfinden. "Wildnis" hingegen beschreibt eine sich selbst überlassene Region ohne jede menschliche Kontrolle oder Eingriffe. 
Spanish ..... Úsese para designar un área de la tierra donde se protege mediante legislación el crecimiento natural y donde la los usos industriales y recreativos se encuentran restringidos. Para las regiones salvajes e incultas que quedan intactas, en un estado natural sin control o intervención humana de ningún tipo, usar "parque natural".
