| Dutch ..... Grijsachtig wit giftig poeder dat vroeger algemeen werd gebruikt als verdelgingsmiddel en insecticide, maar dat in die hoedanigheid van de markt is gehaald vanwege de hoge toxiciteit. Tegenwoordig wordt het gebruikt om kleur te behouden in zoölogische en botanische specimens. In de taxidermie wordt het gebruikt als ingrediënt in zeep voor het reinigen en steriliseren van huiden. |
