| Chinese (traditional) ..... 餐桌上用來置放結凍奶油的圓柱形或橢圓形附蓋器皿，因奶油是置入冰水中保冷，故多半附有可瀝水的裝置；亦可指稱與之類似但無瀝水器的器皿，其以側邊與底部可瀝水的孔洞替代瀝水裝置。若是指餐桌上其他用於盛裝與供應奶油的盤子，則使用「奶油碟」。 |
| Dutch ..... Cilindrische of ovale bakjes met deksel, die zijn ontworpen om boter in te koelen aan tafel; vaak met een vergiet waarin de boter zich bevindt terwijl deze wordt gekoeld in ijswater. Is ook toepasbaar op soortgelijke bakjes zonder vergiet maar met perforaties aan de zijkanten en bodem voor ventilatie. Gebruik 'botervloten' voor andere schaaltjes die bedoeld zijn om boter in te bewaren en aan tafel op te dienen. |

Vasijas cubiertas cilíndricas u ovales para servir mantequilla enfriada en la mesa; a menudo con un escurridor destinado a contener la mantequilla mientras está siendo enfriada en agua helada. También incluye vasijas similares hechas sin un escurridor pero con perforaciones en los lados y en el fondo para ventilación. Use "plato de mantequilla" para otros platos destinados a contener y servir mantequilla en la mesa. |
