Note: Refers generally to a variety of styles of ceramics used for tea ceremonies and every-day use, made at kiln sites in Kagoshima Prefecture (formerly the Satsuma domain) in southern Kyushu, from the early 17th century to the present. Styles range from "sharkskin" ware with a grayish, light sepia or yellowish glaze and fine granular surface to fine iron-glazed teawares in the first half of the 17th century, copies of Sawankhalok ware, a Thai ware decorated with underglazed iron-oxide painting, from ca. 1700, and overglaze enamels from the late 18th century.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 十七世紀早期至今,於九州南部鹿兒島縣(之前的薩摩藩)的燒窯製作的陶瓷風格,應用於茶道及日常生活。包括使用灰色、亮棕黑或黃色釉彩,表面有細緻顆粒的「鯊魚皮」器皿、十七世紀前半葉的鐵釉彩茶具、西元1700年起,飾以釉下彩氧化鐵繪畫的泰國撒灣加洛器皿,以及始於十八世紀晚期的釉上彩琺琅。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst in algemene zin naar keramiek in diverse stijlen, bedoeld voor theeceremonieën en algemeen gebruik, dat vanaf het begin van de 17de eeuw tot heden is vervaardigd in de industriële ovens van de prefectuur Kagoshima (het voormalige Satsuma-domein). De stijlen variëren van 'haaienvel'-aardewerk met een grijzig, lichtsepia of gelig glazuur en een fijn korrelig oppervlak, tot fijn thee-aardewerk met ijzerglazuur uit de eerste helft van de 17de eeuw, kopieën van Sawankhalok-aardewerk, Thais aardewerk dat is gedecoreerd met ijzeroxide in onderglazuur, daterend uit circa 1700, tot opgeglazuurd email uit de late 18de eeuw. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere generalmente a una variedad de estilos de la cerámica usados para las ceremonias del té y el uso diario, hecho en los hornos de la prefectura de Kagoshima (antes el dominio del Satsuma) en Kyushu meridional, a partir del siglo XVII al presente. Los estilos de los objetos van del "piel de tiburón” con un sepia grisáceo, o el esmalte "amarillento” y la superficie granular de color "hierro-esmaltados” finos desde la mitad del siglo XVII.
