Note: Irregular, rough silk reeled from double cocoons or cocoons spun side-by-side that have interlocked. The surface can be recognized by the irregular relief caused by the uneven width of the yarns, and this quality makes it difficult to distinguish from wild silk.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Onregelmatige zijde die voortkomt uit 'dubbele' cocons met twee rupsen (of door twee zijderupsen aan elkaar vastgesponnen coconnen). Het oppervlak kenmerkt zich door het onregelmatige reliĆ«f veroorzaakt door verdikkingen in het garen, waardoor het moeilijk is te onderscheiden van wilde zijde.
