Note: Brush strokes found in traditional Chinese painting. Associated with the Northern Song dynasty painter Mi Fu (1051-1107), after whom they are named, these wet, inky strokes create a misty, atmospheric effect.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Penseelstreken in traditionele Chinese schilderijen. Deze penseelstreken worden geassocieerd met de schilder Mi Fu (1051-1107) van de Noordelijke Songdynastie, naar wie ze zijn genoemd. Het zijn natte, inktachtige stroken die een mistige atmosfeer oproepen.
