Plastische ornamentatie en geschilderde decoratie werden gecombineerd in een techniek waarin het oppervlak wordt bedekt met wit slib en het ontwerp wordt aangebracht in temperaverf. Het aardewerk is vernoemd naar de stad Canosa in Apulië, Italië |
