Note: Drinking glasses having a small bowl and relatively short stem, intended for serving liqueurs, which are strong alcoholic drinks sweetened and flavored with aromatic substances. In a set of matching glasses, a liqueur glass is generally the smallest of the set, smaller than a port glass. While the meaning overlaps with "cordial glasses," cordial glasses typically have a very tall stem proportionally to the size of the small bowl, while liqueur glasses have a short stem. Modern liqueur glasses may lack a stem entirely.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Drinkglazen met een kleine kelk en een relatief korte steel, die bedoeld zijn om likeur uit te drinken, dat wil zeggen sterke, zoete alcoholische drank met diverse specifieke aromatische smaken. In een glazenset waarin de kelken dezelfde vorm hebben, is het likeurglas het kleinst, kleiner dan het portglas. De betekenis overlapt met die van 'bitterglazen', maar een bitterglas heeft meestal een heel lange steel vergeleken met de kleine kelk, terwijl likeurglazen een korte steel hebben. Sommige moderne likeurglazen hebben helemaal geen steel.
