Dutch ..... Open helmen van ijzer of staal, met een horizontale of naar beneden aflopende brede rand rondom, soms met een oogspleet. Ze werden van de 12e tot de 17e eeuw gedragen door de infanterie en belegerende krijgsmachten, minder vaak door ridders. |
German ..... Offener Helm aus Eisen oder Stahl, mit einer rundum durchlaufenden horizontalen oder abwärts geneigten Krempe, manchmal durchbrochen von einem Sehschlitz. Er wurde von der Infanterie und von Belagerungstruppen, jedoch seltener von der Ritterschaft vom 12. bis zum 17. Jahrhundert getragen. |
Spanish ..... Yelmo abierto, de hierro o acero, con un ala amplia horizontal o inclinada hacia abajo que lo rodea por completo, a veces perforada con una abertura para los ojos.
