| Dutch ..... Ronde of halfronde houders, meestal met traanoliebranders, op een afgeknotte kegelvormige basis met een handvat aan één kant. Aan de binnenkant van de basis zit een taps toelopende pin om in een kaarshouder te voegen. |
| Spanish ..... Depósitos globulares o hemisféricos con, normalmente, quemadores de aceite de ballena apoyados sobre una base de cono truncado con un mango para transportarla en un costado. Dentro de la base está pegada una estaquilla para insertar una vela. |
