Note: Windsor side chairs having a back of medium height, approximating a partially opened fan, with the back spindles crowned by a crest rail curved laterally to follow the outside curve of the seat back and supported at the ends by heavy turned back posts. | Chinese (traditional) ..... 椅背高度中等的溫莎椅，椅背形似一把稍微展開的扇子，構成椅背平面的紡錘狀木軸頂端為椅帽橫欄，橫欄兩側向內彎曲，以配合椅座後側的外緣弧線，並由經過精細車削加工的後側椅柱支撐。此種形式的椅子有時部份的椅背會再往前延伸並與扶手連接，以末端椅柱支撐。這類椅子通常具有一圈背部支架。

| Dutch ..... 'Windsorstoelen met een geniddeld hoge rugleuning die op een gedeeltelijk geopende waaier lijkt. De spijlen in de rug zijn aan de bovenregel bevestigd die naar de zijkant afbuigt en zo de bocht van de zitting volgt. Aan de uiteinden worden ze ondersteund door sterk gedraaide achterstijlen. Deze vorm heeft soms een verlengde rug- en armleuning die uitlopen in de achterstijl. Zulke stoelen hebben meestal een verstevigde rug. |

Sillas laterales Windsor que tienen un respaldo de mediana altura, aproximadamente un abanico parcialmente abierto, con los husillos del respaldo coronados por una baranda superior curvada lateralmente para seguir la curva exterior del asiento y apoyados en los bordes por macizos postes torneados. La forma algunas veces tiene un respaldo y brazos que terminan en el poste del respaldo. Tales sillas normalmente tienen un refuerzo en el respaldo. |
