Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Harnas voor de knieën, voor het eerst verschenen in de 14e eeuw; ze bestaan uit een komvormig gedeelte dat over de knieschijf past, vaak met aanvullende scharnierende harnasplaatjes erboven en eronder, en een zijvleugel aan de buitenzijde van het been. 
Spanish ..... Placa de armadura para las rodillas que apareció por primera vez en el siglo XIV. Consistía en una pieza principal en forma de taza que se ajustaba sobre la rótula; frecuentemente, con láminas articuladas adicionales sobre y debajo de ésta y con un ala lateral en el lado externo.
