|
Note: Information indicator for any combination of a variety of materials plus the associated techniques, used in the making of a single work of art. In printmaking, use when more than one technique, such as both etching and engraving, are used in one print. For the painting technique of laying oil paint glazes over tempera paint or tempera paint glazes over oil paint, use "mixed technique." For a general term for a variety of artistic or communicative forms used in a given work or works, such as contemporary works that employ both sculpture and music, use "multimedia." For the concept that certain contemporary works merge known art forms to inaugurate a new type, use "intermedia."

| Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor elke combinatie van diverse materialen met de verwante technieken voor het maken van één enkel kunstwerk. Wordt in de drukkunst gebruikt wanneer meer dan één techniek wordt gebruikt voor één druk, zoals etsen en graveerwerk. Gebruik 'gemengde techniek' voor de verftechniek van het aanbrengen van olieverfvernis op tempera of temperavernis op olieverf. Gebruik ' multimedia werken' voor 20e eeuwse werken die heel verschillende kunstvormen gebruiken, zoals beeldhouwkunst en muziek. Gebruik 'intermedia' voor het begrip dat bepaalde 20ste eeuwse werken bekende kunstvormen combineren om een nieuw type in te luiden. |
