Dutch ..... Textiel geweven volgens een methode die is gebaseerd op een eenheid van twee scheringdraden en twee inslagdraden, waarbij elke scheringdraad over de ene en onder de andere inslagdraad loopt. De verbindingspunten worden langs één scheringdraad op opeenvolgende inslagdraden gelegd. Geen Nederlands equivalent. Zie 'weefsel' en 'effenbinding'. 
Spanish ..... Textil tejido en telar mediante un método que se basa en una unidad de dos extremos y dos lanzaderas, en el cual cada extremo pasa sobre uno y bajo una aguja, quedando los puntos de unión establecidos sobre un extremo en lanzadas sucesivas.
