Dutch ..... Voorganger van het hoefijzer dat werd gebruikt in de noordwestelijke delen van het Romeinse Rijk vanaf het midden van de eerste eeuw na Christus. De hoef werd beschermd door een ovaal kommetje in dik metaal, dat werd vastgemaakt met metalen klepjes en lederen veters. |
