Note: Victory celebrations of ancient Rome, held in honor of generals and admirals, or in Imperial times of emperors or members of the imperial family, who had won a complete victory over a foreign enemy. Typically, the celebration consisted of a victory procession including the honored commander, his army and spoils of war, execution of the chief prisoner, sacrifices at the Temple of Jupiter, and a public feast.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 古羅馬的勝利慶典，用以彰顯將軍與將領之榮耀，或是用來彰顯皇權帝國時代或皇族成員戰勝敵國。一般而言，慶典中會有慶祝勝利的列隊行進，其活動包括向指揮官、其所率領的軍隊與戰掠品致敬、處決主要戰俘、在丘比特神廟獻祭和公開的慶節。

Overwinningsfeesten in het oude Rome die ter ere van generaals en admiraals werden gehouden of voor keizers of leden van de keizerlijke familie in de keizertijd die een volledige overwinning hadden behaald over een buitenlandse vijand. Kenmerkend voor het feest was een overwinningsoptocht met de geëerde gezagvoerder, zijn leger en oorlogsbuit, executie van de hoofdgevangene, offeringen bij de tempel van Jupiter en een openbaar feest. |

Celebración de las victorias en la antigua Roma, que tenía lugar en honor de los generales y capitanes o, en la época del Imperio, en honor de los emperadores o miembros de la familia imperial que habían logrado una completa victoria sobre el enemigo extrajero. Típicamente, la celebración consistía en una procesión victoriosa en la que participaba el comandante homenajeado, su ejército y el botín de guerra y que incluía ejecuciones de los jefes priosioneros, sacrificios en el Templo de Júpiter y un festín público. |
