Note: Sets of stationary hanging bells, normally for outdoor use in an open tower chamber or on a high frame, played manually from a keyboard, automatically by clockwork, or electronically by pneumatic mechanism. More extensive than chimes, their range covers two octaves or more, with all but the lowest notes forming a fully chromatic scale. They are typically played with a keyboard, by which keys mechanically activate levers and wires that connect to metal clappers that strike the inside of the bells. They are often housed in the bell tower of a church or other municipal building.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指固定的懸掛鈴組,一般懸掛於鐘樓的開放空間或高架上為戶外演奏使用,可由鍵盤手動彈奏,以鐘錶發條裝置自動演奏,或是以電子氣動機械演奏。鐘琴的音域較管鐘廣,涵蓋兩個以上的八度音程,除了最低的幾個音外,所有的音符可以形成完整的半音音階。 
Dutch ..... Series vaste hangende klokken, meestal voor gebruik buiten in een open torenkamer of in een hoog raamwerk, die handmatig via een speelklavier kunnen worden bespeeld, dan wel automatisch door een uurwerk of elektronisch door middel van een pneumatisch mechanisme. Ze zijn uitgebreider dan klokkenspelen, met een bereik van twee octaven of meer, waarbij alle tonen behalve de laagsten een volkomen chromatische toonladder vormen. 
German ..... Satz hängender Glocken, normalerweise für den Gebrauch im Freien in einem offenen Turm oder einem hohen Gerüst, manuell mittels einer Tastatur, automatisch mit Hilfe eines Uhrwerks oder elektronisch durch einen pneumatischen Mechanismus gespielt. Größer als ein Glockenspiel, hat es einen Tonumfang von zwei Oktaven oder mehr, wobei alle Töne, außer den tiefsten, eine vollständige chromatische Tonleiter bilden. Carillons werden üblicherweise mit einer Klaviatur gespielt, bei der die Tasten mechanisch Kipphebel und Seilzüge in Gang setzen, die zwei Metallklöppel verbinden, die die Innenseite der Glocken anschlagen. Carillons sind oft im Glockenturm einer Kirche oder in einem Rathaus angebracht. 
Portuguese ..... Conjuntos de sinos suspensos estacionários, normalmente para uso externo em uma câmara de torre aberta ou em um quadro alto, tocados manualmente a partir de um teclado, automaticamente por relógio ou eletronicamente por mecanismo pneumático. Mais extenso do que os carrilhões, seu alcance cobre duas oitavas ou mais, com todas as notas, exceto as mais graves, formando uma escala totalmente cromática. Eles são normalmente tocados com um teclado, pelo qual as teclas ativam mecanicamente alavancas e fios que se conectam a badalos de metal que atingem o interior dos sinos. Eles são frequentemente alojados na torre do sino de uma igreja ou outro prédio municipal.
