Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Japonnen die tot de grond reiken, waarvan de rok aan de voorzijde open is, waardoor de fraaie onderrok zichtbaar is. Term in de 20e eeuw ontstaan om dergelijke japonnen uit de 18e en 19e eeuw te benoemen. 
German ..... Bezieht sich auf ein langes Kleid aus dem 18. und 19. Jahrhundert mit einem Überrock, der auf der Vorderseite geteilt ist, um einen verzierten Petticoat oder einen Unterrock darunter zu zeigen. 
Spanish ..... Úsese para designar un vestido de capa de cuerpo entero, propios de los siglos XVIII y XIX, con una sobrefalda con rajas en la parte delantera que deja bajo ella una bajofalda o unas enaguas adornadas.
