Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Lange hoofddoek of sluier die doorloopt tot het middel en het hoofd en de hals, romp en armen bedekt, maar het gezicht vrij laat. In islamitische culturen dragen sommige vrouwen ze als uitdrukking van bescheidenheid. Gebruik ���hidjab' voor kortere hoofddoeken die alleen het hoofd en de hals bedekken. 
German ..... Langes Kopftuch oder langer Schleier, das oder der bis zur Taille reicht; den Kopf, den Nacken, den Rumpf und die Arme der Trägerin bedeckend, aber das Gesicht sichtbar lassend. In der Öffentlichkeit von einigen Frauen im islamischen Kulturraum getragen, um Bescheidenheit auszudrücken. Für ein kürzeres Kopftuch, das nur Kopf und Nacken bedeckt, verwende "Hidschab".
