Note: Refers to the period from about the 4th century BCE to the 4th century CE during which the kingdom of Nabatea located in northwest Arabia flourished. The style of the period is known for its eclectic character, combining Hellenistic, Roman, and Eastern motifs and is seen most prominently in the facades of rock-cut tombs at Petra, the kingdom's capital.

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de periode van circa de 4de eeuw v. Chr. tot de 4de eeuw na Christus, toen het koninkrijk van Nabatea floreerde in het noordwesten van Arabië. De stijl van de periode staat bekend om het eclectische karakter en de combinatie van Hellenistische, Romeinse en Oosterse motieven, die vooral te zien zijn in de gevels van de uitgehouwen graven bij Petra, de hoofdstad van het rijk. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al período de aproximadamente el siglo IV a.C. al siglo IV d.C. durante el que floreció el reino de Nabatea localizado al noroeste de Arabia. El estilo del período es conocido por su carácter ecléctico, que combina motivos helénicos, romanos, y orientales y puede distinguirse claramente en las fachadas de tumbas de roca cortada en Petra, la capital del reino.
