Note: Refers to the work of a group of artists working in Chicago who gained national recognition in 1959 after an exhibition in New York where they were labeled the "Monster School." There were three distinct self-identified groups associated with the Chicago Imagist school: The Hairy Who, The Monster Roster, and The Chicago Imagists. The style is influenced by popular culture and outsider art, often incorporating images from comic strips and other print media.

Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 指1945年戰後芝加哥藝術家團體的作品。1959年該團體在紐約展出時,被稱為「怪獸畫派」,進而聞名全國。60年代又以「那個髮利」 (Hairy Who)為名進行展覽,展現出更為明確一致的藝術理念。該藝術風格沉著迷於對權威人士性幻想與性侵略,作品中常融入連環漫畫及其他印刷媒材中的圖像。 
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar het werk van een groep kunstenaars die na 1945 actief was in Chicago en die in 1959 in de Verenigde Staten landelijke erkenning verwierf na een tentoonstelling in New York waar de groep was aangeduid als de 'Monster School'. In de jaren 60 kreeg de groep meer samenhang en exposeerde zij als de 'Hairy Who'. De stijl is sterk gericht op seksuele fantasieën en agressie ten opzichte van gezagsdragers, en omvat vaak afbeeldingen uit stripverhalen en andere gedrukte media. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere a la obra de un grupo de artistas que trabajan en Chicago en la era post-1945, que ganaron el reconocimiento nacional en 1959 después de una exhibición en Nueva York donde fueron apodados la "Escuela de Monstruos". En los años sesenta, el grupo se puso más coherente y exhibió como los "Hairy Who". El estilo se concentra en fantasías sexuales y agresión hacia las figuras de autoridad e incorpora a menudo imágenes de las tiras cómicas y otros medios de comunicación impresos.
