Note: Photographic process invented by Niépce and Daguerre in 1832, whereby images are produced by a process that utilized lavender dissolved in alcohol as the photosensitive agent. The resulting solution was then applied to a silver plate, and then exposed in a camera obscura for several hours.

| Dutch ..... Fotografisch procedé uitgevonden door Nièpce en Daguerre in 1832, waarbij beelden worden geproduceerd door middel van in alcohol opgeloste lavendel als lichtgevoelige stof. De daaruit ontstane oplossing werd vervolgens op een zilverplaat aangebracht en daarna een aantal uren in een camera obscura belicht. |
