Dutch ..... Objecten, bijvoorbeeld kledingelementen, interieurinrichtingen, ceremoniële objecten of decoraties, die van veren zijn gemaakt. Meestal zijn de veren gehecht aan een vast draagelement of afzonderlijk bevestigd op een geweven draagelement. 
German ..... Objekt wie ein Bestandteil von Bekleidung, Einrichtungsgegenständen oder Kultobjekten oder eine Dekoration aus Federn. Im Allgemeinen sind die Federn entweder an einem festen Träger befestigt oder einzeln mit einem gewebten Träger verbunden. 
Spanish ..... Objectos tales como elementos de trajes, muebles, objetos ceremoniales, o decoraciones hechas de plumas. Generalmente las plumas son adheridas a un soporte sólido o atadas individualmente a un soporte tejido. Técnica artística, genuinamente mexicana, que consiste en colocar sobre una hoja de maguey una capa de algodón cardado mezclada con engrudo, dejándola secar, así se lograba una especie de lienzo de algodón, éste era desprendido de la hoja para colocar sobre el papel que el cual tenía un diseño previamente realizado. Se definían los contornos con plumas ordinarias, para luego rellenar y realizar los detalles del diseño con plumas ricas. La técnica fue modificándose a lo largo del tiempo, posteriormente se realizaban mosaicos, que consistía en ir agregando plumas hasta conseguir las formas y volúmenes deseados. También se realizaban trajes y tocados. El Arte plumario sustituía dos clases de objetos: pinturas y bordados occidentales.
