Note: Shallow bowls from 4 to 6 inches in diameter, with one flat handle usually flush with the rim, employed by barber-surgeons of the 17th and 18th centuries in bleeding a patient. In England the term is also sometimes applied to what in America is known as porringers.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 十七世紀至十八世紀,理髮兼醫療師(barber-surgeon)為病人放血時所使用的淺碗,直徑為四至六英吋,有一個扁平的把手,通常與碗緣齊平。在英國,這個詞彙有時等同於美國的「粥碗」。

In Engeland wordt de term ook gebruikt voor wat in Amerika bekend staat als porringers.

Jahrhunderts, um einen Patienten zum Aderlass zu bringen. In England wird der Begriff manchmal auf Objekte angewandt, die in Amerika als "porringers" bekannt sind. 
Spanish ..... Bols poco profundos de 4 a 6 pulgadas de diámetro, con una asa plana generalmente alineada con el borde, empleados por cirujanos barberos de los siglos XVII y XVIII cuando hacían sangrar a un paciente. En Inglaterra el término se aplica también algunas veces a los recipientes que en América se conocen como porringer.
