Bij de mens, het gebied van het voorhoofd tot de kin. Wordt ook gebruikt om het gedeelte van de wenkbrauwen tot de kin te beschrijven. |
German ..... Der vordere Teil des Kopfes eines Menschen oder eines Tieres; bei Wirbeltieren ist es die Fläche des Kopfes, auf der sich die Sinnesorgane für das Sehen, den Geruch sowie der Mund und der Kiefer befinden. Bei Menschen erstreckt sich das Gesicht von der Stirn bis zum Kinn. Der Begriff kann auch verwendet werden, um den Teil der Vorderseite des Kopfes unterhalb der Stirn, von den Augenbrauen bis zum Kinn, zu beschreiben. |
