Dutch ..... Gebruik voor gedeeltelijk versterkte huizen die vaak een gewelfde begane grond hebben, meestal voor vee, en met de leefruimtes op de bovenste verdiepingen. Bastle houses zijn meestal te vinden langs de Engels-Schotse grens.
