Note: Double-sided statues of the Virgin Mary in a mandorla, best known in Medieval churches in Germany and the Netherlands. The sculpture is suspended from a vaulted ceiling at the division between the choir and nave. From the Latin adjective meaning "of Mary."

| Dutch ..... Twee ruggelings tegen elkaar geplaatste Mariabeelden omgeven door stralen in een krans van rozen. Maria houdt het Kind in de armen, staat op wolken, of staat, naar het visioen van Johannes (Apocalyps 12:1-6) op de maansikkel en vertrapt de slang. Het van oorsprong laatmiddeleeuwse Marianum hangt af van het gewelf van de kerk, zichtbaar voor de geestelijkheid in het koor en het kerkvolk in het schip. |
