| Dutch ..... Een beperkt aantal veelvouden van eenzelfde werk, vaak individueel genummerd, waarvan de clichés, mallen of gietvormen worden vernietigd na het voltooien van de oplage. |

Edition einer Auflage, üblicherweise eines Buch oder Druckes, die in einer vorher festgelegten Anzahl aufgelegt wird, in der Regel fortlaufend nummeriert und manchmal vom Künstler signiert. Nach Abschluss der Produktion einer Auflage werden die Platten, Gieß- oder Pressformen sowie Klischees häufig zerstört oder, im Fall von Satzvorlagen für Bücher, die einzelnen Lettern wieder aus dem Druckstock herausgelöst. |
