Record Type: concept
electronic speckle pattern interferometry (interferometry, analysis and testing techniques, ... Processes and Techniques (hierarchy name))

Note: Refers to an optical technique which enables interferometric measurements of surface displacements. When laser light is scattered by a rough surface it generates a random intensity distribution known as a speckle pattern. The technique allows visualization and measurement of the three dimensional distribution of displacement and strain/stress on the object.

Terms:
electronic speckle pattern interferometry (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,U)
electronic speckle pattern interferometry (Dutch-P,D,U,U)
interferometry, electronic speckle pattern (C,U,English,UF,U,U)

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
