Note: Long guns used in England in the late 16th century for military purposes, as they can be fired without rest. They were a newer form of the harquebus, but were not used after the Civil War. They were generally sized larger than the harquebus and smaller than the musket.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Lange vuurwapens die eind 16de eeuw in Engeland werden gebruikt voor militaire doeleinden omdat men er zonder ondersteuning mee kon schieten. Ze vormden een nieuwere versie van de haakbus en raakten in onbruik na de Engelse Burgeroorlog. Ze waren in het algemeen groter dan de haakbus en kleiner dan de musket.
