Dutch ..... Te gebruiken voor het motief dat is afgeleid van een zeer gestileerd plantmotief van oosterse herkomst, 'boteh' genaamd, in de 19e eeuw overgenomen van kasjmiersjaals door fabrikanten uit Paisley in Schotland en populair geworden in Groot-Brittannië. Het motief bestaat in vele varianten en met talloze nevenmotieven, met name in textielpatronen. |
Spanish ..... Úsese para el motivo derivado de un motivo oriental sumamente estilizado basado en plantas, llamado boteh, copiado de los chales de cachemira por la compañía manufacturera de tejidos Paisley, Escocia en el siglo XIX y que se hizo popular en Gran Bretaña y Francia; se da en muchas variaciones y con numerosos motivos secundarios, particularmente en modelos textiles. |
