Dutch ..... Verwijst naar kruissteekborduurwerk waarin het ontwerp wordt uitgevoerd op canvas of stof met circa drie tot zes mazen per strekkende centimeter, waardoor betrekkelijk grote en dikke steken mogelijk zijn. 
German ..... Bezeichnet eine Nadelarbeit, in der das Muster auf Segeltuch oder Stoff mit ungefähr 7 bis 16 Maschen pro Längen-Inch, der relativ lange und dicke Stiche erlaubt, aufgestickt wird. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al punto de aguja en que el diseño es trabajado en un lienzo o tela que tiene alrededor de 7 a 16 hilos por 2,5 centímetros líneales, permitiendo puntadas relativamente grandes y libres.
