Note: Culinary tools with perforated containers which are filled with tea leaves, or sometimes coffee grounds, then placed within a cup or pot of water to brew the beverage. Prefer "tea balls" for small perforated balls in which tea leaves are placed to be immersed in hot water to make tea. For culinary tools used to catch the loose leaves or grounds as the beverage is poured, use "tea strainers."

| Dutch ..... Keukengerei met een geperforeerde bak met daarin theeblaadjes of soms ook gemalen koffie die in een kop of pot met water worden geplaatst zodat het kan trekken. Gebruik 'thee-eieren' voor kleine geperforeerde balletjes waarin theeblaadjes worden gedaan en die in heet water worden ondergedompeld om thee te maken. Gebruik 'theezeefjes' voor hulpmiddelen waarmee de losse blaadjes of het bezinksel wordt opvangen als de drank wordt uitgeschonken. |

| Spanish ..... Herramienta culinaria con contenedores perforados que se rellenan de hojas de té, o a veces de café, para colocarse después dentro de una taza o cacerola de agua en la que se prepara la bebida. Prefiera "TEA BALL” para las bolsas pequeñas y perforadas en la que se colocan las hojas de té para después sumergirla en agua caliente y así hacer el té. Para instrumentos culinarios utilizados para coger las homas sueltas o el café cuando la bebida es vertida, use "tea strainers”. |
