| Dutch ..... Een multivariate voorspellingstechniek waarin lidmaatschap van een groep voorspeld wordt aan de hand van een lineaire combinatie van twee of meer intervalafhankelijke variabelen. De techniek wordt in de archeologie gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld om een classificatie te ontwikkelen voor de otolieten van vissen die ooit op een archeologische vindplaats leefden, om een onderscheid te kunnen maken tussen de verschillende soorten waartoe zij behoorden. |
