| Spanish ..... Se refiere a un paño de forma cuadrangular, tejido y liso. Es la prenda básica de la vestimenta de la mujer y del hombre mapuches. No tiene designación de sexo, pero la de edad puede deducirse por la relación proporcional: Tamaño-edad. Su color determina el uso. Si es negro, es usado siempre por una mujer; y al no estar teñido, será de los niños y niñas; en los hombres no es indispensable el color negro. Paño de forma cuadrada que cubre el cuerpo desde la cintura a los pies para los hombres y desde los hombros hacia abajo para las mujeres. |
