Note: Style of sculpture dating ca. 4,000-2,000 BCE in Anatolia, characterized by figures that have flat bodies, schematic features, detailed with light engraving and painting. Examples are highly stylized standing nude females with flipper-like arms and a bulbous head. The type is named after the village in Turkey where the first examples were found.
