Note: A ball sport invented in Holland ca.1901 with similarities to netball and basketball. Intended as a mixed-gender sport, two teams of 8 members must field four female and four male players. The objective is to throw a ball through a bottomless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5 feet) high pole. Players are allowed to run only when they are not in possession of the ball. |

Dutch ..... Een balsport, met gelijkenissen met netbal en basketbal. Het wordt gespeeld door twee teams van acht spelers met ofwel acht vrouwen in elk team of met vier vrouwen en vier mannen in elk team. Het doel is om een bal te gooien door een bodemloze mand die op een 3,5 m (11,5 voet) hoge mast is gemonteerd. |
