| Dutch ..... Figuren van porselein, hout, ivoor of ander materiaal, die gewoonlijk een vrouw voorstellen vanaf het middel. Het object heeft meestal een uitgestoken gat of iets dergelijks bij de onderkant, waarmee het poppetje met draad of anderszins aan een massieve basis kan worden bevestigd, of aan een onderlichaam dat van goedkoper of zachter materiaal is gemaakt. Gebruik 'staakbeelden' voor soortgelijke objecten met een kooiconstructie als basis. |
| Portuguese ..... Figuras feitas de porcelana, madeira, marfim ou outro material, geralmente representam uma mulher e somente da cintura para cima. O objeto, normalmente, tem um buraco perto da parte inferior, com o objetivo de permitir que a meia boneca seja costurada ou unida à uma base sólida ou à um corpo inferior feito de um material mais suave e mais barato. Para objetos similares unidos à uma base parecida com uma gaiola, use "bonecas gaiola". |
