Record Type: concept
copper carbonate (compounds (materials), <materials by chemical form>, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: A coloring agent found in pyrotechnics and in many pigments. It occurs naturally in crystalline form as blue colored azurite and green hued malachite. Copper carbonate is synthesized by adding sodium carbonate to a solution of copper sulfate; the product is then filtered and dried resulting in a colored powder.

Terms:
copper carbonate (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,N)
carbonate, copper (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
copper carbonates (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
cupric carbonate (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
kopercarbonaat (C,U,Dutch-P,D,U,U)

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
