Een chemische verbinding die oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld werd voor gebruik in het aanbrengen van een permanente haargolf, en tegenwoordig wordt gebruikt bij de conservering van paleontologische artefacten. De stof wordt in een oplossing aangebracht op fossiele materialen om sulfaten en pyrietoxidatieproducten te neutraliseren en te verwijderen. |
