| Dutch ..... Orde van ten minste 1700 bekende levende soorten insecten. Ze worden ook wel 'steenvliegen' genoemd omdat de larven onder stenen in waterstromen gaan zitten. Alle soorten kunnen slecht tegen vervuiling van het water. Hun aanwezigheid in een waterstroom of in stilstaand water beschouwt men dan ook als een indicatie dat de kwaliteit van het water goed is. |
