Dutch ..... Bladgoud dat tot poeder is vermalen en is vermengd met honing of een ander bindmiddel. Werd gebruikt om een poedereffect te creëren op lederen boekbanden, om goudversieringen te repareren of te herstellen en om manuscripten te vergulden. Oorspronkelijk verpakt in mosselschelpen, maar later in plastic houders in de vorm van een mosselschelp of in de vorm van een tablet of een blokje. |
Spanish ..... Lámina de oro molida hasta convertirla en polvo y mezclada con miel u otro ligante, utilizada para producir efectos de polvo en encuadernaciones de cuero, para reparar o restaurar filetes de oro y para dorar manuscritos. Acondicionada originalmente en conchas de mejillón, se vende más recientemente en contenedores plásticos en forma de conchas de mejillón o en forma de tableta o pequeños bloques.
