| Chinese (traditional) ..... 用鉻鞣製的小牛皮，傳統上染成棕色，從頭至尾以單一方向搓紋，營造出獨特的長條圖案，稱為「柳紋」。與「格痕小牛皮」不同，後者通常染黑，並以兩個方向搓紋，製造出交錯的方格花紋。 |
| Dutch ..... Chroomgelooid kalfsleer dat oorspronkelijk bruin werd geverfd en in één richting werd gezoomd (van hoofd naar staart). Zo ontstond het karakteristieke wilgenmotief. Het verschil met boxcalf is dat dit laatste meestal zwart is geverfd en in twee richtingen is gezoomd, waardoor een rechthoekig gekruist patroon ontstaat. |
| Spanish ..... Becerro curtido con cromo tradicionalmente teñido marrón y entablado en una dirección de cabeza a cola para producir el diseño largo característico llamado sauce. Diferente del "box calf", que se encuentra habitualmente teñido de negro y es entablado en dos direcciones para crear un diseño cruzado rectangular. |
