| Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor diverse rekenapparaten die bestaan uit losse schijven, met andere cirkels, voorzien van een schaalverdeling of nummering, daar bovenop of daaraan bevestigd, die worden gebruikt voor het berekenen van onder andere de maanstanden, de tijden van de zonsopgang en zonsondergang of de tijden van eb en vloed. Deze voorwerpen werden meestal gemaakt van papier, karton of velijn en werden vaak voorgedrukt in of bevestigd aan manuscripten of boeken van de 13e tot de 16e eeuw. |

Usado para cualquiera de los varios aparatos consistente de discos movibles superpuestos, llevando otros discos graduados o calculados, para por ejemplo calcular las fases de la luna, el tiempo que tarda en salir el sol o en ponerse, o la duración de las mareas; usualmente hechos de papel, cartón o papel vitela y frecuentemente encontrados impresos o adjuntos a manuscritos o libros del siglo XIII al XVI. |
