Dutch ..... Weefsel met pool van symmetrische knopen van gekleurd kamgaren op een schering van hennep of linnen; werd vanaf het eind van de 16e tot halverwege de 18e eeuw gemaakt in Engeland. Het werd vooral gebruikt voor tafelkleden, vloerkleden, bekleding, kussens en soms wandtapijten. |
Spanish ..... Textil de sucesión de nudos con nudos simétricos en hebras de lana peinada de colores sobre cáñamo o tela de lino, fabricado en Inglaterra desde fines del siglo XVI a mediados del XVIII. Se utiliza especialmente en manteles, alfombras para el piso, cortinas, cojines y, ocasionalmente, en colgaduras.
