Note: Refers to the middle phase of the Greek Classical period and style, from around 450 BCE to around 400 BCE. In sculpture it is characterized by the complete mastery of the ideal human form, represented in balanced, subtle movement and with drapery that clings to the body to reveal the form beneath. In vase painting, it is characterized by an increased refinement and variety of human forms and facial expressions. In architecture it is characterized by a lightening of proportions and a refinement of earlier established orders.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱自西元前450年至西元前400年間發展之希臘古典時代與風格的中期階段。在雕塑作品方面，此時期的特徵為對理想人體的完全掌握與精熟，平衡且精緻的人體動作再現，以及巧妙地藉由緊貼在人像身體上的布料而顯示出其下肌肉起伏的雕塑手法。在花瓶畫方面，其特徵為更為優美且多樣的人體形式與臉部表情。此時期的建築的特徵則為輕盈的比例與對早期柱式的改良。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de middenfase van de Griekse klassieke periode en stijl, van circa 450 v. Chr. tot circa 400 v. Chr. Karakteristiek voor de beeldhouwkunst is de volledige beheersing van de ideale menselijke vorm, weergegeven in uitgebalanceerde, subtiele beweging en met draperieën op het lichaam die de vormen onder de kleding onthullen. De vaasschilderkunst wordt gekenmerkt door een toegenomen verfijning en variatie in menselijke vormen en gelaatsuitdrukkingen. De architectuur wordt gekenmerkt door lichtere proporties en verfijning van eerder gevestigde orden. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a la fase media del período y estilo Clásico griego, de alrededor del 450 a.C a alrededor del 400 a.C. En escultura se caracteriza por el completo dominio de la forma humana ideal, representada en movimiento equilibrado, sutil y con ropajes que se adhieren al cuerpo para revelar la forma debajo. La decoración de vasijas, se caracteriza por un creciente refinamiento y variedad de formas humanas y de las expresiones faciales. En arquitectura se caracteriza por proporciones más livianas y por un refinamiento de los tipos establecidos con anterioridad. |
