An example of an adaptation is a version of an earlier text made to better agree with a philosophy other than that intended by the original. Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Schriftelijke werken of werken die van schriftelijke werken zijn afgeleid, waarbij het tweede werk een gewijzigde of verbeterde versie is die daarmee beter geschikt is voor een ander doel. Een voorbeeld van een bewerking is een aangepaste tekst die vroeger soms werd gemaakt zodat deze beter overeenkwam met een filosofie die anders was dan in het origineel bedoeld. Andere voorbeelden zijn schriftelijke werken die zijn aangepast aan een ander medium, zoals film, radio of toneel. Gebruik 'adapties' voor beeldmateriaal dat een aanpassing is van een ander werk.
