Note: Photographic processes that record a color image by making three records of the scene on a monochrome plate or film, each record filtered for one of the three primary colors (red, green, and blue). The image is viewed by reassembling in register each of the separate records, each record being shown by the light of its own record, that is, the red record is displayed with red light.

| Dutch ..... Fotografische procédés waarbij een beeld in kleur wordt vastgelegd door drie opnamen van het tafereel te maken op een monochrome plaat, waarbij op elke opname één van de drie primaire kleuren (rood, groen en blauw) gefilterd wordt. Het beeld is zichtbaar doordat de afzonderlijke opnamen weer in register bij elkaar worden gevoegd, waarbij elke opname wordt getoond in het licht van de eigen opname; zo wordt de rode opname getoond met rood licht. |
| Spanish ..... Procesos fotográficos que registran una imagen del color con más de tres registros o técnicas en una placa o una película monocromática, para cada proceso se filtraron los tres colores primarios (rojo, verde, y azul). La imagen es tratada con diferentes técnicas, es decir, el registro rojo se exhibe con la luz roja. |
