Note: Refers to the style and period that developed after the conquest of Constantinople by the armies of the Fourth Crusade in 1204 and lasted into the early 14th century. The style is particularly evident in southern and central Italy, and was fertilized by the import of Byzantine portable objects, by Greek artists in Italy, and by western artists returning from Byzantine territiories. Italo-Byzantine style is characterized by the merging of Byzantine themes, figural types, and decorative elements with Hellenistic-Roman illusionism, Gothic fluency of line, and local Italian traditions.

Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl en periode die zich ontwikkelde na de verovering van Constantinopel door de legers van de Vierde Kruistocht in 1204, en die duurde tot het begin van de 14de eeuw. De stijl is met name duidelijk aanwezig in het zuiden en midden van Italië, en werd gevoed door de import van draagbare Byzantijnse objecten, door Griekse kunstenaars in Italië en door westerse kunstenaars die terugkeerden van Byzantijns grondgebied. De Italo-Byzantijnse stijl kenmerkt zich door de vermenging van Byzantijnse thema’s, figuratieve soorten en decoratieve elementen met Hellenistisch-Romaans illusionisme, gotische vloeiende lijnen en lokale Italiaanse tradities. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere al estilo y período que se desarrollaron después de la conquista de Constantinopla por los ejércitos de la Cuarta Cruzada en 1204 y que duraron hacia principios del siglo XIV. El estilo es particularmente evidente en Italia del sur y central y fue enriquecido por la importación de objetos portátiles bizantinos, por artistas griegos en Italia y por artistas occidentales que vuelven de los territorios bizantinos. El estilo Italobizantino se caracteriza por la fusión de temas bizantinos, tipos de formas y elementos decorativos con ilusionismo Helenístico-Romano, fluidez de línea gótica y tradiciones italianas locales.
